OUS strategy hits home Re: November editorial, page 4 (medicaldesign.com/engineering-prototyping/regulatory/o-u-s-strategy-disturbs-20101018): Glad you talked with Jeffrey Jump (in Switzerland, my place of origin). Large US device makers and particularly large drug makers not only drive up cost of FDA approvals, they drive up my medical costs and they dominate my TV screen with endless advertising. They also financed the 2010 midterm elections, effectively purchasing and controlling (almost) both houses in Washington.

Bert G. Keel Retired since 1997, Keel worked on disc drives (servo/magnetic recording) for more than 40 years, beginning his career with Univac and ending it with Seagate.
