Nano technology on the rise in medical
According to the National Nanomanufacturing Network enewsletter, nanotechnology is changing the status quo in the healthcare industry. According to the publication, a large portion of nanotechnology research is focused on biomedical applications and there have been significant breakthroughs reported in the area of nanoparticles for drug delivery and therapeutics. Processes are now available that facilitate targeted drug delivery for a range of diseases, allowing the use of therapies that can minimize or eliminate hospitalizations and other medical treatments.
