Still time to register for desktop 3D printing webinar
by Joe Jancsurak,Editor

Among the greatest advancements in rapid prototyping is that of desktop 3D printing. Objet Geometries, Billerica, MA, recently introduced the Alaris, a desktop 3D printer that uses layered PolyJet Technology to deliver high-quality, low-cost parts. Orchid Design, a division of Orchid Orthopedic Solutions LLC, Holt, MI, an Orthopedic Product Development firm focused on engineering and design, prototyping, and quality and regulatory services uses 3D printing to help develop products for orthopedic companies trying to get their products to market fast. By bringing 3D prototyping technology in-house, Orchid Orthopedic Solutions has been able to reduce its product development timelines by up to 20 percent. Orchid’s Brian McLaughlin and Objet’s Neil Ranney will discuss the technology and its capabilities during a Medical Design webinar on Thursday, June 18, at 2 p.m. Register now for this informative live webinar.
