Micro-abrasive blaster

Using up to four axes of motion and unique tooling, the Advanced Lathe LA3250 performs jobs such as roughening the surface of dental implants or removing laser slag from the surfaces of laser-cut Nitinol stents. Roughening the threaded area of dental implants increases the surface area for the tissue to take root, improving the bond. Laser slag must be removed from stents to create a uniform finish for better electropolishing results. The machine effectively removes residues and microcracks. Comco Inc., 2151 N. Lincoln St., Burbank CA 91504, (818) 841-5500 COMCOinc.com
