Advanced Lathe Cleans Stents, Engraves Surfaces

The LA3200 Advanced Lathe combines the precision of micro-abrasive blasting with an advanced machining platform. It is well suited for stent surface conditioning, detailed engraving, and other medical-manufacturing tasks. When equipped with a single nozzle head, (it controls up to five nozzles) the lathe can accurately engrave the outside of cylindrical parts. The single nozzle head has a control system that minimizes delay in starting and stopping the abrasive stream. This increases the level of detail possible in intricate patterns. The lathe controls abrasive works precisely enough to etch a design onto an egg shell.
