High flows in miniature device

Ultra-miniature, single-stage diaphragm pressure regulators are designed for high flows. PRDHF is a 10-32 ported, non-relieving version and PRDHF8 is a manifold-mount version. PRDHF comes in brass, stainless steel, and aluminum. It controls output pressures from 0 to 30 psig and is suited to pressure regulation as low as ½ psig. PRDH8 is similar but is only available in brass and stainless steel. Its Inlet is a 5/16-24 UNF external thread, and its outlet port is through a 0.094-in. hole at the base, which eliminates fitting and tubing connections.

Piezo for accurate flow

Valve uses a piezoelectric rotary motor (piezomotor) system to provide quicker and more accurate flow regulation than motorized control valves. Piezoelectric effect creates rotation in a drive shaft. Its demand for electrical current is low. Ceramic construction is lighter than copper coils and iron magnets used in EM motors. It offers 100 times better resolution (1 arc-sec) and accuracy of flow control as well as 100 times faster response to demand time (50 µsec).

Micro pump provides mounting flexibility

FMM20 micro-diaphragm liquid pump is a solenoid-driven pump designed to dispense accurate volumes of 20 µlit/stroke, and it is field-adjustable from 5-25 µlit. It operates quietly and provides tight flow in both directions, and it offers a choice of manifold mounting, hose barbs, and threaded ports. Material choices include PP/EPDM, PP/FFPM or PVDF/FFPM. It can be installed in any position and mounted close to desired pumping functions. With this self-priming pump, there is no tubing maintenance, and it can run dry.

Aluminum compares favorably with brass

Total Air Control series valves feature lighter, anodized aluminum alloy bodies that offer the same corrosion resistance as dipped brass. They are available in three port sizes (10-32, 1/8, 1/4), and in 2-way, 3-way and 4-way, or spring return. Manual pushbuttons and mechanical or air pilot operators can be used for operation and pneumatic logic control. They can be mounted in any position, in-line or panel mounted. Air energized seal reduces friction. They operate in pressures from 0 to 125 psig and temperatures from -20° to 180° F, at speeds to 900 cycles/min.

Intrinsically safe enclosed design maximizes pressure control

The 114 Rapid Load Pumphead features automatic tube stretch for high accuracy, repetitive flow, and reliable performance without operator adjustments. Safe and fully enclosed design results in spring-loaded operation for long tube life and maximum pressure control.
