Tubing extends pump life

Norprene chemical tubing is a high-performance coextrusion for sensitive fluid-transfer applications. Its inert ultra-smooth plasticizer-free bore resists the absorption and adsorption of aqueous fluids while the Norprene outer jacket provides long flex life in peristaltic pumps.

The tubing from Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Corp., Aurora, Ohio, (tygon.com/home.asp) is unaffected by acids, bases, salts, ketones, and alcohols. Typical applications include chemical applications, sensitive fluid transfer, ink and solvent production, and diagnostic testing. The tubing withstands temperatures from -75 to 165° F and can be autoclaved up to five times.
