Equipment Has A Flare For Tubing

Automated tube-flare systems from Beahm Designs, Campbell, Calif., (beahmdesigns.com) provide greater forming control of a cone's flare length and geometry. Tube flaring creates a “lead” so one tube easily fits over another, and allows flaring, expanding, or cuffing the ID of PTFE balloon sleeves and other thermoplastic tubing. The Automated 610-TF changes tools quickly for multiple conical, cuff and flange geometries and is equipped with heat and cooling timers to set shapes in a material.
