An integrated manufacturing process by Vesta, Franklin, WI, has resulted in a tubing innovation.  The kink resistant product consists of a silicone inner and outer layer, with an imbedded reinforcing member with a spiral wind the length of the extrusion. Samples of the new tubing were well received at the recent MD&M West in Anaheim. The company expects to support requests ranging from IDs of 1 mm to 6 mm, and says it does not have limitations with respect to durometer or tensile member requirements.
