How To Transfer And Warm A Fluid

Recently introduced tubing also works as a heater capable of warming fluids to up to 212°F, or maintaining temperatures as they move from reservoir to point-of-use. Freeflex tubing from Watlow., St. Louis, (watlow.com) puts a heating element in contact with the miniature polymer tubing, resulting in fast, efficient heating and temperature control over a portion or the entire length of the tube. A durable jacket covers the wound heating element and lets the tubing bend, flex, or coil on moving equipment. The tubing can also be formed and routed around other system components in stationary applications.
