The 075P2 two-way pinch valves from Bio-Chem Fluidics in Boonton, N.J. have low power requirements and come with either a normally open or normally closed valve function. The new design has smooth contours that allow easier insertion and removal of tubing without snares. An integrated insert provides both positive tube retention and confirmation of correct tubing size. A manual push-button override is an option. The unit includes a valve body made from Luran and a plunger made of Ryton. These materials are resistant to most common cleaning solutions and easily meet Bio-Chem’s two-million-cycle operation standard.
